New Year 2010--August

A new year is about to begin. It is hard to believe that we survived last school year with the longer days and all the bad weather and no electricity. However, the summer has flown by and it is now time to buckle down and start a brand new year. What I like about new years is that it is a new beginning for everyone and there are not any preconceived ideas or expectations. Everyone is starting a new page or chapter in their lives.

So with that: Welcome you to the school Year 2010-2011

Concert Dates

It is already half way thru January, where has the school year gone.

Concert time is upon us. Here are the dates to put on your calendar.

6th grade Band/Vocal Concert--March 16, 2010 6:30pm CMS Gym

5th grade Band/Vocal Concert--March 29, 2010 6:30pm Adams Elementary Gym

4th grade Vocal Concert--March 30, 2010 6:30pm Adams Elementary Gym

for 5th grade band

5th grade band students will not be performing on the November 12 concert.  We have had a late start and we will not be performing at that time, but will look for a date after the beginning of the new year  2010

Time Flies

Hello again,

I think maybe now I will get this up and running.  Time has definitely flown since I started this in August.   School is going well and I hope you are enjoying the  different things we are doing in music.  

Homecoming is this week, we will be working again on the school song.

5th grade band is now underway and lessons are going well, make sure that band students practice every day.

Welcome to Music!!

This is a year for lots of changes and technology in the classroom. I will be using blogs to keep you informed of things that are happening in the classroom. I am also making a web page that can be accessed through the Adams Elementary and CMS website.

I am looking forward to meeting all the new students and getting reacquainted with all of my former students.
